Change in Name of Company
All companies. Change of company name requires: (1) availability check with the ROC (Form INC-1 or RUN - Reserve Unique Name); (2) Special Resolution by shareholders; (3) amendment of MOA Clause I and AOA; (4) filing Form MGT-14 and the Central Government (ROC) issuing a new Certificate of Incorporation.
Before passing the resolution, reserve the new name via RUN (Reserve Unique Name) on the MCA portal. Name change requires Special Resolution by shareholders and filing Form MGT-14 within 30 days and obtaining a fresh Certificate of Incorporation from the ROC.
