Appointment of Chairman for Board Meetings
All companies. The Board may appoint a Chairman under the Articles. If no Chairman is elected, the Directors present must elect one for that meeting.
The paperwork around a meeting matters as much as what's decided in it. SS-1 (Secretarial Standard on Board Meetings) sets the rules here, down to notice periods and quorum. The practical effect: chairman of the company presides over Board meetings if present and willing; if absent or unwilling, directors present may elect one of themselves to chair that meeting. With Fi CTC Generator, this is a 3-minute task, not a 30-minute Word-template hunt.
